How the numbers work

  • Floor labor today = people × hours per week × hourly cost × 52 weeks.
  • Labor saved = that cost × the share the machines take over, rising each year by the wage increase.
  • Running costs = service and parts, power and water, plus staff time to check each machine at the same hourly cost.
  • Equipment is a one time purchase in month 1 with no financing or resale value counted.
  • Machine sizing assumes real world speed at half of Gausium's rated maximum and up to 16 run hours a day with a workstation.
  • Hours your team gets back can move to customer service, restrooms or detail cleaning.
